How to Use the EXIF & Location Editor

Follow these simple steps to view, edit, or remove metadata from your images. Your photos are processed 100% locally in your browser—nothing is uploaded to our servers.

1.Upload Your JPEG Image:Only JPG/JPEG formats support standard EXIF headers.

Click inside the upload zone or drag and drop a JPEG photo directly into the editor.

2.Get GPS Coordinates from Google Maps:Quick guide for desktop & mobile.

To add or change the location on your image:

1. Open Google Maps on your desktop or phone.
2. Search for the location or right-click (tap and hold on mobile) on the exact spot on the map.
3. Click on the coordinates shown (e.g., 28.983321, 78.816742) to copy them.
4. Paste the first number into Latitude and the second number into Longitude.

3.Edit Metadata Fields:

Fill in or modify any of the following details:

• Camera Details: Camera Make, Model, or Software.
• Date & Time: Original date/time taken (YYYY:MM:DD HH:MM:SS).
• GPS Coordinates: Decimal Latitude and Longitude (e.g., 28.9833, 78.8167). Use negative values for Southern or Western hemispheres.

4.Save or Strip Metadata:

Choose your preferred output action:

• Save & Download: Embeds your new metadata into the photo and downloads the updated JPEG.
• Strip All Metadata: Completely wipes all camera information, timestamps, and GPS tracking for privacy before downloading.
